Our Wedding

Our story began online, with miles between us and no idea just how much life was about to change. He was in Michigan, and I was in Florida - but from the very beginning, the distance never felt bigger than the connection we shared. What started as messages and visits quickly grew into something undeniable, and we spent over a year making long distance work, building a relationship rooted in laughter and love.Eventually, love won - he transferred to Florida, and from there life only got sweeter. whether were exploring new places on cruises, discovering great restaurants and fun bars, or simply enjoying a quiet night at home, one thing has always been true: we have the most fun just being together.Along our journey, I was working toward becoming a mother and through every step of that process he provided love and support. We were blessed with a beautiful daughter, and becoming a family together made our bond even stronger.In July of 2024, on Mackinac Island, he proposed on the very porch where well soon gather again - where on of the most meaningful moments of our lives took place. A few months later, on December 31, 2024, we eloped in Las Vegas, choosing to start our marriage in a way that felt perfectly us.Now, were returning to where the proposal happened to renew our vows and celebrate this love with the people who mean the most to us. We cant wait to share this full-circle moment, our joy and our forever with all of you!

Please note that the evening of the wedding you will need to stay on Mackinac Island. The ferry doesn't run all night. I would highly suggest booking rooms early since rooms on the island can go quickly.

The Delmar is the hotel that we will be staying at and the pick-up point for the wine tasting tour. There are several other hotels in Traverse City that are also close to this location.

The Grand Hotel is where we are hosting all events. It's a beautiful hotel. This would be the most expensive option on the island. We have a few rooms blocked for the 8th and more for the 9th and 10th. For guests not staying at the Grand Hotel, the town is very walkable and there are carriage taxis that you can book to get to and from the hotel as well.

This is the Ferry that takes you to Mackinac Island. You can prebook your tickets or purchase them in Mackinac City when you arrive. There is parking at the terminal.
